April 2026 - Coming Events 

Concord After 60 is a social and educational organization for Concord residents over the age of 60. Meetings are usually held the third Sunday of the month, 1 to 3 p.m., in the West Concord Union Church, corner of Main and Pine streets.

Monthly meeting, Sunday, April 26, 1-3 p.m. (Note date change this month)
Our speaker will be Maynard Forbes, former owner of the beloved West Concord 5&10. Maynard will share his deep appreciation and knowledge of local village life.  Refreshments will be served.

Steering Committee, April 7, 12:30 p.m., Zoom
All members are invited to attend this meeting. Only steering committee members may vote. The Zoom link will be sent to all members prior to the meeting.

Book Group, Thursday, April 30, 7:30-8:30 p.m., Zoom
April’s book is “In Praise of Wasting Time” by Alan Lightman.  All are welcome to join the monthly discussion. Contact Moira Walsh for more information, Moiraandrews@gmail.com.

Walking Group meets Fridays at 1:30 p.m.
Walks range from one hour to an hour and a half in various areas of Concord and nearby towns. New members are welcome. Contact Betty Knake, etknake58@gmail.com.

Art Without Fear
