Concord Bridge

Welcome

Concord After 60 has the goal of providing socialization, group activities, help in a pinch, and new friendships.

Mission

Concord After 60 is a volunteer organization with three goals: socialization, mutual support, and sharing information. It offers social events and educational activities through monthly meetings and a variety of interest groups.

Charter:

Essential to achieving these goals, all members participate in regular meetings, small group activities as desired, and volunteer opportunities of their choice.

Studies have shown that as we grow older, isolation can lead to loneliness and contribute to illness.

Concord After 60 is a group of people who have come together with the purpose of supporting each other as they age and become less independent. Most of them want to remain in their homes for as long as seems feasible or desirable.

To achieve our goals we encourage members to attend meetings, make new friends, participate in volunteer opportunities, share information, and support each other.

You are invited to join Concord After 60 if you are:

  • Concord Resident
  • Over the age of 60 years
  • Committed to contributing your time and talents

We invite you to come to our Regular Monthly meetings. They are normally:

  • Third Sunday of each month
  • 2 pm to 4 pm
  • At West Concord Union Church (1317 Main Street, Concord)

Concord residents may attend two meetings before being asked for annual $25 dues.  For further information contact Concord After 60:
